I usually purchase my slow down belts direct from Heidelberg, do yours perform the same?
Our Heidelberg slow down belts are an aftermarket part which perform well, although most don’t have the same longevity as Heidelberg's. However, due to the cost difference, these remain an economical alternative to the genuine part. With the exception of our flat green 20mm (M-129) that we are very pleased with, due to the performance that matches Heidelberg’s belts.

- MRL Roller Cleaner (C-RC/1) is excellent for thorough cleaning during colour change applications. It removes all non-soluble deposits.
- Lube Clean (M-480) gently deep cleans and rejuvenates rollers while lubricating rollers on idle printing units.
- MRL Quick Colour Change Paste (C-RC2/1) is ideal for speedy colour changes. It quickly removes previous printing ink, and the paste itself washes off the rollers in a short time frame.
- MRL Roller Shampoo (C-RS/1) removes stubborn stains and revives rubber.
MRL De-Calcifying Gel (CS-DCG/1) is a specialist cleaning gel designed to remove calcium carbonate deposits from rollers while subtly conditioning them.
How do I order the correct Alcolor pan roller for my Heidelberg press, half crown (low alcohol) or full crown (full alcohol)?
To order the correct Alcolor pan roller, take note of your serial number, as there may be variants across the ages. Then confirm the percentage of IPA you run.
If you run 5% or less, you need to order a half crown (low alcohol) pan roller and if you run 6% or more, you need a full crown (full alcohol) pan roller.
I have purchased wash cloth from another supplier and it keeps smearing and tearing and it is cheaper than what you’re offering. How do I know I’m not paying more for your wash cloth and ending up with the same poor results?
MRL’s wash cloth is manufactured with interlaced fibres making it extremely tough and difficult to tear. Whereas lower quality towels have parallel fibres and are far easier to tear, potentially causing unnecessary downtime. Our wash cloth is also more absorbent than that cheaper cloth, leaving blankets and cylinders dry and smear free after a washup cycle.
Is your wash cloth FOGRA approved?
Our rubber rollers are manufactured to the same standard as those supplied by Bottcher.
