Important machine manufacturers recommend a water quality with a hardness value range of

8-12 dH. Adding 0,5 % hardening agent to treated water will maintain the water hardness

at a constant level of 10 dH and gives the water bacterial protection.

This way, stable water is guaranteed, which will lead to a controllable ink/water balance,

improved drying of your printed matter and a less aggressive behaviour in the dampening

water on cylinders and other parts of the machine.
